Flight home

Our flight left at 8 am, so we were up and out the door by 6:30. Abby did great on both flights, but she was perfect on the flight home. We were home and unpacking by 10:30 am, which is unbelievable- normally we would only be a few hours into the drive.

Beach trip- Day 4

Abby started her morning by watering the flower beds and spraying her feet with the hose. Brandon and I went to the Donut Hole which is one of our favorite places to eat, where we ate until we were stuffed. Abby stayed at home to hang out and swim by the pool.

Since this was our last day, we decided to go to the beach in the afternoon to snap the last few pictures of our beach vacation.

The weather was so nice, just a little windy, but Abby loved the beach.

After dinner at the Crab Trap we went home to pack and get ready for our flight home.

We hated that our trip went by so quickly, but like they say, "all good things must come to an end."

Beach Trip-Day 3

Abby was so worn out from all of the back and forth that she stayed at home until lunch time to play with her Grandma, and swim in their pool. Brandon and I hit the beach sanz baby to relax for most of the morning. It was wonderful!

After some lunch, Abby swam for a little bit in the Hilton pool, but was just too worn out to last for very long. She left soon after and went home for a bath and a nap.

Beach Trip- Day 2

We started our second day by taking Abby to Destin Commons to play in the splash fountains. As most of you already know, Abby loves water, and if it is water that shoots up high in the air, even better!

We left Destin Commons and headed to the Hilton to swim in the pool and eat lunch.

After all of that swimming Abby worked up quite an appetite. Here she is chowing down on an entire grilled cheese sandwich, french fries, corn, watermelon, and a bowl of ice cream with chocolate sauce.

Beach Trip- Day 1

This past week we went to the beach to visit Abby's Grandma and Grandad in Destin. For this trip we decided to fly instead of drive since our drive to Chicago was not exactly the easiest! Our flight left at 10 am and by 2 pm we were already on the beach soaking up the sun. You've got to love an hour and a half flight!

Abby likes the beach, but definitely prefers the pool. She likes to climb in and out of the baby pool splashing, laughing and playing.

After the beach we had dinner at home and after a bath, Abby slept for about 13 hours. Between the plane and the sun this baby was worn out!
