Christmas Card attempts

I love Christmas cards. It's one of my favorite parts of the holiday. I especially love getting cards from old friends that Brandon and I went to high school and college with. It is so exciting to see everyone all grown up with families of their own. Since Thanksgiving I have been snapping away trying to find a suitable picture for our card. I think I took about 200 all together- to get Abby to sit still and not do her new "happy face" when the camera is around is getting harder and harder. Just as we were about to throw in the towel, we finally found one. Hopefully our cards will go out by next week. In the mean time, here are a few that didn't make the cut.

Merry Christmas!

Happy Face

Here are some pictures of Abby's new "happy face."

Beautiful isn't it?

Raking leaves

Abby helped her Daddy rake leaves this weekend. It was just too tempting, so into the pile she went!

She loved it!

Halloween

This year for Halloween Abby dressed up like a lamb. Since Abby carries her Lambie around everywhere, and can't sleep or nap without it, we felt that it was only fitting to let her dress up like a lamb. She loved her costume, as well as going to parties for a week straight. I feel as though the costume was money well spent; not only did she wear it 4 times, but whenever she was fussy we would tell her that she wouldn't be able to wear her Lamb costume and go to a party if she didn't act nice, and that would end the little fit. Too bad that only worked for Halloween!

Party #1. Trick or treating through the Racquet Club
Taking inventory of her candy stash.

Party #2. Trick or treating through CBU
Abby and her best friend, Giuliana

It was a long walk, so we pushed the girls in a wagon

A lamb, an angel, and Hollis the Dragon

Party #3. Abby's PDO class wore their Halloween costumes and had a party at school. They all looked adorable!

Party #4. Trick or treating and a hay ride!
Abby and Lambie ready to go!

With our neighbors Maggie, a witch, and Thomas, a giraffe

Loving the hayride!

Not at all affected by the sugar

Abby was exhausted by the time we got home and went to bed around 8:30- which is around the time Brandon and I got a hold of the Halloween candy and ate about 5 pieces a piece!

Cedar Hills Farm

A couple of weekends ago we took Abby to Cedar Hills farms in Hernando, MS. Here are some pictures from our fun afternoon.

This little girl loves to ride horses.

Abby wanted her face painted like the big kids, but every time the lady came near with her brush, Abby would take a step back. So we compromised, and she got her arm painted instead.

I love this picture, and hate that my camera was on the wrong setting! I think she looks so big.

Here are some pictures of Abby last year at Cedar Hills Farm.

So big so fast! It seems like time if flying by these days!
