It's Fun to be One!

Can you believe that Charlie is 1? It really seems like days ago that our family of 3 became a foursome. Here we are packed and ready to go to the hospital for a 6:00 check in time!

After checking in, answering a few routine questions, and getting hooked up to some machines... Charlie Kamm was born at 7:55 am.

Fast forward a year later at 7:55 am. Happy Birthday to you, Charlie!

And later that day chowing down on a birthday cupcake...

A few days later we had a birthday party at our house with friends and family. It was mostly a party for Abby and all of her friends, but hey, Charlie doesn't know the difference, right?! It was an ice cream party complete with games, bikes, a bouncy house, sidewalk chalk, and bubbles. It was a lot of fun. Here is the birthday boy at his adorable birthday party!

We ended up moving his birthday party to the rain date, which was Sunday afternoon because Abby was so sick with another round of bronchitis. It was still a lot of fun, and we are very appreciative of all of our friends and family that celebrated with us. Here he is looking so handsome and chunky at his 1 year (eekk!) checkup.

I know... you just want to squeeze him, don't you?!
