Señor and Señorita Moostash

The best dollar I have ever spent at Target--EVER!

One of my favorites

For some reason, and I am not exactly sure why, this has become one of my favorite pictures of Abby. I guess it is because every time I look at her in the Batman costume it reminds me of what childhood is all about; playing with your friends without a care in the world. I wish I knew what she was thinking about, but I guess that is what makes this picture so special.

Delta Fair

It's that time of year again; time for the fair! We have been going to the Delta fair since I was pregnant with Abby back in the fall of 2009. We love it, and now Abby loves it. We went on Labor Day this year so we had to fight a pretty big crowd, but it was still worth the trip. Abby and her Daddy won 2 fish, a hermit crab, and an inflatable Dora toy. We ate, played and sweated it out until everyone was tired and ready to go home. This is what we did while at the fair:
Fed the animals:
Ate some ice cream:
Rode some rides:
And a pony:
And won a few prizes:
This is what Charlie did while we were at the fair:
Here are some pictures of our trip to the fair last year. I was only a few weeks pregnant with Charlie.
Abby still loves to ride the ponies!

Hello Everyone!

We're BACK! Summer is over, and Abby is officially in school full time which means that there is a lot more time to do the tasks (blogging and ironing) that I have been putting off for several weeks now. Our summer has been BUSY. Aside from taking care of Abby and meeting her demanding activity schedule, we have a very sweet little boy to take care of as well. I could not have asked for a better baby with Charlie. He likes to do the following tasks in this particular order: eat, sleep, smile. He repeats these 3 activities throughout the day until he crashes around 8:00 pm and then is up again around 10 for his last feeding of the night. Around 7am we hear him in his room conversing with his fan, and thus the cycle repeats. We love him so much; before he came we worried about how much another baby would change our family, now we cannot imagine what our life would be like without him. I am going to try and blog as much as I can, but sometimes life just get in the way of that :) Here are a few pictures from our summer:
Swimming and Ice cream
Abby loves to hold Charlie
Sweet Charlie Kamm :)
We don't know where he get those pouty lips from!
Abby's first manicure! She loved it.
The first of many wrestling matches.
Showing her brother some love
When Charlie was first born he was falling asleep while he ate, so he wasn't gaining much weight. In fact, at his first weight check he was only at the 6th percentile. It didn't take too long to fatten him up; this guy loves to eat and is chunking up nicely. Here is his full face.
Mom had a birthday...
Charlie didn't know what to think of this.
Still swinging
And Smiling!
Played in some water
And were up to no good!
Abby's first day of school at her new school!
Playing after bath time! Bye bye summer! Hello fall!

Abby's animals

These plastic animals came from the dollar bin at Michael's and have quickly become some of Abby's favorite toys to play with. Gotta love a good bargain! She loves to put them on the top of her slide, push them down one at a time, and then slide to the bottom to get them. She repeats this process over and over again. Here she is drawing and talking to her animals.
Abby does have a favorite animal-- a giraffe that she has named, Suzanne. We don't know if she knows that this is Grandmommy's name or not, but hearing her call her giraffe Suzanne is pretty cute!
