Big Girl Potty

At Abby's 18 month checkup I asked the doctor about potty training and if she thought Abby was ready to start. She told me to give it a try, go buy her a potty chair, and see how it goes. So for the past few weeks, a few times throughout the day, we have been trying to use the big girl potty. Abby could have cared less, and was more into taking the potty apart and putting it back together, or listening to the "flush" sound then using the bathroom.

Here she is the first day, not too crazy about it, but sitting and reading for a little bit.

Well, last night, while we were getting her bath ready we put her on the potty with one of her favorite games, and about 5 minutes later...she used the big girl potty!!

Yeah!!!

She got a few M amd M's, used the bathroom one more time, got more M and M's and went to bed. I don't think she ever realized what the big deal was, but definitely loved those M and M's!
